Mundo’s swanky spot can now be found at Paper Factory Hotel in Long Island City. The grand two-level space features avant-garde designs, including a 30-foot column embraced with vintage books, an original printing machine and out-of-this-world lighting collected across the world. For an expedited reply, venue pricing and detailed event questions please call the hotel at 718-392-7200 and someone will be able to schedule a tour or phone call with the Events Space Sales Manager, Udi Vaknin for any day or time after 1pm if he is not already in the office. Please provide event date, contact details, and the date and time you wish to meet at the hotel or be contacted. Email correspondence is not recommended until after first meeting or phone call.
Paper Factory Hotel does not offer catering services directly. Catering is provided via Mundo, the in-house restaurant of Paper Factory Hotel. For all catering related questions or interest in Mundo venue space please contact Udi Vaknin at firstname.lastname@example.org. Additional fees of 20% can be paid in order to use outside catering, but all alcoholic bar services must be purchased from Mundo.
Paper Factory Hotel only rents venue space, AV and furniture and does not offer event planning and/or coordination services. Weddings are required to have their own event coordinator before booking at Paper Factory Hotel. We do recommend certain vendors if needed.
The final payment is due fifteen (15) business days prior to your event. Should the final payment not be received by this date, the balance will be billed to your credit card on file.
Final Guest List
The final guaranteed number of guests and final guest list is due fifteen (15) business days prior to your event. Should the final guarantee not be received by this date, the estimated count on this order will be the basis for set-up and billing charges.
All room rental, food, beverage, chairs, tables, linens, and audio-visual equipment are subject to 20% service charge and prevailing state tax, (currently 8.875%) unless group is tax exempt. If the function exceeds above time parameters, client is subject to overtime charges, to be determined by General Manager.
All payments made with personal / company credit cards are subject to a 3% additional processing fee added on top of the total invoice.
Any additional time in the event space will be charged at an hourly rate.
50% non refundable deposit is due upon execution of a contract. If cancellation occurs 60 days prior to event date, the 50% deposit could be applied as deposit payment to the re-scheduled event date within six weeks of the original event date based on availability. All deposits/payments are non-refundable if the event is canceled within 60 days of the event.
Cancellations must be made via email up to 30 days prior the event to avoid charges on final balance due. Deposits are non-refundable.
Fees can apply on outdoor spaces for tent rental based on size and type of tent needed.
Contracts become valid when returned with signature of client, general manager and form of payment.
